In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:
Velocity Edge refers to Velocity Edge Ltd and its associated platform and services.
Customer refers to any individual or organisation purchasing products through the Velocity Edge platform.
Products refers to lubricants, fluids, greases, equipment and related products available through the platform.
Order refers to a request placed by a customer to purchase products through the platform.
The Velocity Edge platform is provided to allow customers to search for, compare and purchase lubrication products efficiently.
Customers agree to use the platform responsibly and to ensure that all information provided during registration, ordering and payment is accurate and up to date. Velocity Edge reserves the right to restrict or suspend access where the platform is misused or where fraudulent activity is suspected.
All intellectual property rights relating to the platform, including branding, content and software, remain the property of Velocity Edge or its licensors.
Orders placed through the Velocity Edge platform constitute a request by the customer to purchase the selected products in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
After submitting an order, customers will receive an order confirmation acknowledging receipt of the request. A binding contract is formed when Velocity Edge confirms that the order has been accepted and is being processed for fulfilment.
Velocity Edge aims to fulfil all accepted orders as confirmed. However, in limited circumstances – such as product unavailability, pricing errors or other unforeseen issues affecting fulfilment – Velocity Edge may need to contact the customer to amend or cancel an order. Where this occurs, we will work with the customer to provide suitable alternatives or resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
All prices displayed on the Velocity Edge platform are provided in good faith and may be subject to change without notice.
Prices are typically displayed exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Delivery charges may apply depending on order size, location or delivery requirements and will be clearly indicated during the checkout process.
While every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy, occasional errors may occur. If a pricing error is identified after an order is placed, Velocity Edge will contact the customer to confirm whether they wish to proceed with the corrected price.
Payment terms will depend on the purchasing method selected by the customer.
For most orders placed through the platform, payment will be required at the time of checkout using the available payment methods. Account customers may be offered agreed credit terms subject to approval.
Velocity Edge reserves the right to withhold shipment of products until payment has been received or approved.
Velocity Edge works with trusted logistics partners to deliver products efficiently across the UK and other supported regions.
Delivery timeframes are provided as estimates and may vary depending on product availability, location and external factors affecting transportation. Velocity Edge will make reasonable efforts to ensure orders are delivered within the expected timeframe.
Responsibility for the goods transfers to the customer upon delivery to the specified address.
Velocity Edge provides product descriptions, specifications and documentation to help customers identify appropriate lubricants and related products.
However, customers remain responsible for ensuring that the selected products are suitable for their intended application. Where necessary, customers should consult manufacturer documentation such as Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) or technical specifications before use.
Technical support may be available to assist with product selection, but final responsibility for product suitability remains with the customer.
Customers should inspect goods upon delivery and notify Velocity Edge promptly if products are damaged, defective or incorrect.
Where issues are reported within a reasonable timeframe, Velocity Edge will work with the customer to arrange replacement, return or resolution in accordance with applicable policies.
Returned products may require prior authorisation and must be returned in appropriate condition.
Velocity Edge will take reasonable care in providing accurate product information and fulfilling orders.
However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Velocity Edge shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of products purchased through the platform, including but not limited to operational downtime, production loss or loss of profit.
Velocity Edge’s total liability in relation to any order shall not exceed the value of the products supplied.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes arising in connection with the use of the Velocity Edge platform or the purchase of products shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
