Shell Advance Ultra 2T
Shell Advance Ultra 2T is a premium synthetic-based 2-stroke motorcycle oil developed using advanced Shell technology to provide ultimate performance and protection. It combines polyisobutylenes with Shell XHVI synthetic base fluids and proven additive technology to deliver exceptional lubrication performance in all 2-stroke motorcycle engines, including those operating under extreme and race-tuned conditions.
A defining feature of Shell Advance Ultra 2T is its extremely low smoke formulation. The carefully balanced blend of synthetic base fluids and polyisobutylenes helps reduce visible exhaust smoke while maintaining strong lubrication performance. This contributes to cleaner exhaust operation and improved rider comfort without compromising engine protection.
The oil provides ultimate lubrication at peak performance levels, ensuring reliable protection even when engines are subjected to high speeds, heavy loads and demanding riding environments. It offers maximum protection against scuffing and ring sticking, helping to preserve piston integrity and maintain consistent compression. Its advanced formulation also minimises combustion and exhaust system deposits, keeping engine components cleaner for longer and supporting sustained performance.

The product is suitable for all 2-stroke motorcycle engines operating with oil-injection or premix systems. It is recommended for high-performance air-cooled and water-cooled 2-stroke engines, including race-tuned motorcycles, and for high-performance snow scooters operating at temperatures down to –40°C. Shell Advance Ultra 2T should not be used in outboard engines; a dedicated outboard oil is recommended for those applications.
Shell Advance Ultra 2T meets recognised international performance standards including JASO FD, API TC and ISO-L-EGD. It is a self-mixing oil containing a hydrocarbon diluent and is blended to the correct viscosity for use in oil injection systems fitted to modern 2-stroke motorcycles.
