Oxidation stability and the ability to shed entrained water quickly are the priorities in shipboard systems where condensate ingress is constant, protecting bearings, gearing and governor gear and keeping fill life long on machinery that has to run without shoreside support. Suits LNG carriers, steam-driven auxiliaries, naval vessels and turbine-equipped tankers.
