Millers Oils Millmax 32
Millers Oils Millmax 32 is a premium anti-wear hydraulic oil, specifically engineered to perform in the most demanding of modern hydraulic systems and to promote smooth and efficient equipment operation. It meets the performance of stringent original equipment specifications such as Bosch Rexroth RDE 90235 and Parker HF-0.
The lighter ISO VG 32 grade is specified where a system needs faster response and lower drag than a VG 46 provides, which is why it is the common choice for machine tools and precision equipment. Millmax 32 is suitable for a wide range of applications including industrial hydraulic systems, mobile equipment, injection moulding machines and CNC machinery. Its viscosity index of 117 is slightly higher than the VG 46 grade, meaning the oil holds its viscosity well across the working temperature range.
Zinc-based anti-wear properties protect components and extend equipment lifespan, while exceptional resistance to compression ensures efficient power transfer through the circuit. Superior thermal and oxidation stability maintains system cleanliness over time, which on a CNC machine or moulding tool translates directly into fewer valve faults and longer filter life.
The low-foaming formula minimises aeration and cavitation for consistent power transfer, and demulsification prevents water contamination, reducing the risk of rust, corrosion and decreased lubricity. The oil is compatible with elastomers and seals, enhancing seal life and reducing maintenance requirements.
The performance profile covers DIN 51524-2 (HLP), ISO 11158 (HM), ASTM D6158, SAE MS 1004, GB 11118.1-2011, JCMAS P041 HK, GM LS-2, AIST 126 and 127, SEB 181222, Bosch Rexroth RDE 90235, Parker HF-0, HF-1 and HF-2, and Eaton E-FDGN-TB002-E. It also meets Fives Cincinnati P68.
Typical characteristics are a density of 0.856 g/ml at 15°C, a kinematic viscosity of 32.0 cSt at 40°C and 5.6 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 117, a pour point of -25°C or below and a flash point of 225°C or above.
