Mobil Antifreeze Extra is an advanced high-performance coolant concentrate formulated to provide reliable protection for modern engine cooling systems. Based on ethylene glycol and organic acid technology (OAT), Mobil Antifreeze Extra is designed to deliver effective protection against freezing, overheating and corrosion across a wide range of operating conditions. The product is supplied as a concentrate and must be diluted with water prior to use to achieve the desired level of performance and protection.

Mobil Antifreeze Extra must be diluted with deionised or soft water before use. ExxonMobil recommends a dilution ratio of approximately one part coolant to two parts water, although different dilution ratios can be used depending on the required level of freeze protection. Proper dilution ensures optimal performance, including effective corrosion protection and temperature control within the cooling system.
Mobil Antifreeze Extra meets the requirements of ASTM D3306 and is recommended for applications requiring JIS K 2234 performance standards. It is suitable for use in passenger vehicles and other automotive cooling systems where high-performance coolant protection is required.
Physical characteristics include a specific gravity of approximately 1.04 at 29.5°C and a boiling point of approximately 103°C. Mobil Antifreeze Extra is green in colour and has a pH of approximately 8.25 at a 33% concentration. The coolant also provides a reserve alkalinity of approximately 6.25 ml, supporting reliable corrosion protection and consistent cooling system performance across a wide range of operating conditions.
