Mobil Vacuoline 533
Mobil Vacuoline 533 is part of the Mobil Vacuoline 500 Series, a family of high-performance heavy-duty circulating oils developed for demanding industrial equipment. Originally designed for No-Twist rod mills, these lubricants are also suitable for a wide range of circulating systems lubricating gears and bearings. The formulation uses high-quality base stocks and a proprietary additive system to provide excellent wettability, corrosion protection and dependable performance.
One of the key advantages of Mobil Vacuoline 533 is its strong anti-wear performance. The lubricant helps protect gears, bearings and other components operating under moderate loads, reducing wear and extending equipment life. This contributes to improved reliability and reduced maintenance requirements.
Mobil Vacuoline 533 also provides excellent demulsibility. The oil separates rapidly from water and contaminants, helping maintain lubrication performance even under severe water contamination. The formulation also offers high resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation, supporting long oil life and cleaner systems.
Another important benefit is its versatile application capability. Mobil Vacuoline 533 is suitable for circulating systems, plain and rolling element bearings and moderate-duty gear units. It can also be used in hydraulic systems employing gear, vane, radial and axial piston pumps where high viscosity anti-wear fluids are required. The oil is also suitable for compressors and vacuum pumps handling air or inert gases where discharge temperatures do not exceed approximately 150°C.
Mobil Vacuoline 533 meets Morgan No-Twist® mill oil quality specifications and Danieli rod mill requirements. The ISO VG 320 viscosity provides strong film strength and dependable lubrication in heavy-duty circulating systems.
Physical characteristics include ISO VG 320 viscosity grade with a kinematic viscosity of approximately 215 mm²/s at 40°C and 18.8 mm²/s at 100°C. Mobil Vacuoline 533 has a flash point of approximately 284°C and a pour point of approximately −15°C. The oil provides reliable wear protection, water separation and long service life in industrial circulating applications.
