Mobilmet 426
Mobilmet 426 is part of the Mobilmet 420 Series, a range of premium multi-purpose cutting oils developed for light to moderate duty machining applications. These oils are chlorine-free, non-staining and non-corrosive, making them suitable for a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Formulated with high-quality base oils and carefully selected additives, Mobilmet 426 provides reliable lubrication performance while maintaining a clean and efficient machining environment.

Mobilmet 426 is particularly suited for machining non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, copper, brass and bronze, as well as automatic machining operations on materials with higher hardness (up to approximately 300 Brinell). It is ideal for applications requiring enhanced lubrication performance and precision.
Physical characteristics include ISO VG 32 viscosity grade with kinematic viscosity of approximately 32 mm²/s at 40°C and 5.7 mm²/s at 100°C. Mobilmet 426 has density of approximately 0.874 kg/L at 15°C, flash point of approximately 210°C and pour point of approximately −15°C. The oil delivers excellent machining performance, improved tool life and reliable operation in moderate duty machining applications.
