Shell Coolant Longlife Ready to Use is a pre-diluted organic additive technology (OAT) antifreeze and coolant designed to provide long-term protection for modern automotive and industrial engines. Supplied ready mixed, it eliminates the need for further dilution and ensures the correct concentration for reliable freeze and corrosion protection.
A key advantage of Shell Coolant Longlife Ready to Use is its extended corrosion protection performance. The OAT formulation helps protect cooling system components made from aluminium, cast iron, steel, copper and other common engine materials. With a pH of 8.3 and reserve alkalinity of 2.7, the coolant maintains chemical stability and resists acid formation over prolonged service intervals, contributing to reliable system performance.
The product provides freeze protection down to –37°C, safeguarding engines and cooling systems from freezing damage in cold climates. At the same time, it supports efficient heat transfer and temperature regulation under normal operating conditions, helping to maintain optimal engine performance.
