Shell Helix Ultra Professional AF 5W-20 is a premium fully synthetic motor oil developed to meet the demanding lubrication requirements of modern high-performance gasoline engines. The oil is formulated using advanced synthetic base oils and carefully balanced additive technology to provide excellent engine protection, improved fuel efficiency and reliable performance. It has been specifically designed to meet the performance requirements of Ford engines, including modern EcoBoost engines that require low-viscosity, fuel-efficient lubricants.

This includes many modern Ford vehicles equipped with EcoBoost engines. The oil is also backwards compatible with many Ford gasoline engines that require earlier specifications such as WSS-M2C913-B, making it suitable for a wide range of Ford vehicles.
In addition, the oil is suitable for use in hybrid vehicles and engines where API SN or ACEA C5 performance levels are required. These specifications confirm the oil’s ability to deliver reliable lubrication performance in modern fuel-efficient engine designs.
