Shell Omala S2 GX 220 is formulated to resist thermal and chemical breakdown throughout the service interval, helping to minimise sludge formation and maintain consistent lubrication performance. This oxidation stability enables the oil to perform effectively even when bulk oil temperatures approach approximately 100°C, helping reduce maintenance requirements and lower the total cost of ownership.

The advanced EP additive system forms a strong protective film on gear tooth surfaces, reducing metal-to-metal contact and protecting gears and bearings from surface damage.
