The formulation is designed to deliver durable protection and improved engine reliability for marine propulsion engines operating on distillate fuels with sulphur content of up to 0.5%.

The lubricant is also suitable for modern low-emission marine diesel engines meeting ACEA E7 and API CI-4 requirements, and it can be used with biodiesel fuels when following manufacturer recommended oil drain intervals.
The oil meets key industry and OEM specifications including ACEA E7, E5 and E3 along with API CI-4, CH-4 and SL. It also meets Caterpillar ECF-1A and ECF-2, Cummins CES 20078, 20077, 20076, 20075, 20072 and 20071, Global DHD-1, JASO DH-1, MTU Category 2 and Volvo VDS-3. Physical characteristics include a kinematic viscosity of approximately 105.1 mm²/s at 40°C and 14.3 mm²/s at 100°C with a viscosity index of approximately 139. The oil has a density of approximately 886 kg/m³ at 15°C, a flash point of approximately 205°C and a pour point of approximately –39°C, supporting reliable lubrication performance across demanding marine operating conditions.
