Mobilith SHC 007
Mobilith SHC 007 is part of the Mobilith SHC Series, a range of superior performance greases formulated using synthetic base oils combined with advanced lithium complex thickener technology. These greases are designed to deliver outstanding performance across a wide temperature range, providing reliable lubrication in both high and low temperature operating conditions. The wax-free nature of the synthetic base oil enables excellent low-temperature pumpability and very low starting torque, while maintaining strong film strength at elevated temperatures.
One of the key advantages of Mobilith SHC 007 is its excellent low-temperature performance. The semi-fluid NLGI 00 consistency allows for easy flow and distribution, making it particularly suitable for centralised lubrication systems and applications operating in cold environments. This helps ensure consistent lubrication at start-up and reduces the risk of component wear due to poor lubricant circulation.
Mobilith SHC 007 also provides outstanding thermal and oxidation stability. The synthetic base oils resist degradation at high temperatures, helping extend grease life and reduce the frequency of relubrication. This contributes to lower maintenance costs and improved equipment reliability in demanding operating conditions.
Another important benefit is its excellent wear, rust and corrosion protection. It is also suitable for non-driven heavy-duty truck trailer wheel hubs and other applications requiring a semi-fluid grease with high load-carrying capability. The product performs reliably across a wide operating temperature range of approximately −50°C to 150°C.
Physical characteristics include NLGI 00 consistency with lithium complex thickener and red appearance. Mobilith SHC 007 has base oil viscosity of approximately 460 mm²/s at 40°C and a dropping point of approximately 265°C. The grease delivers excellent low-temperature performance, strong load-carrying capability and reliable long-term protection in demanding industrial applications.
