Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ
Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ is a high-performance semi-fluid automotive grease specifically developed for use in centralised lubrication systems in commercial vehicles. Formulated using synthetic base oils and a lithium thickener, the grease incorporates a carefully balanced additive system including anti-wear, extreme pressure, antioxidant and corrosion inhibitor components. This combination provides reliable lubrication, strong component protection and consistent performance across a wide range of operating conditions.
One of the key advantages of Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ is its excellent pumpability and flow characteristics. The semi-fluid consistency (NLGI 00–000) allows the grease to flow easily through long pipelines and complex central lubrication systems, even at very low temperatures. This ensures rapid and consistent delivery of lubricant to all lubrication points, reducing the risk of insufficient lubrication and improving system efficiency.
Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ also provides excellent wear protection under heavy load and vibration conditions. The advanced additive system helps protect critical chassis components from wear, extending component life and improving equipment reliability. This is particularly important in commercial vehicles operating under demanding conditions such as heavy loads, stop-start driving and rough terrain.

Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ is recommended for use in centralised lubrication systems in commercial vehicles operating in temperatures ranging from approximately −40°C to +100°C. It is suitable for use in systems from manufacturers such as Willie Vogel AG and meets Mercedes-Benz MB 264.0 and MAN 283 Li-P 0-000 specifications. The grease is also compatible with common seal materials including NBR, ACM and FKM when used within appropriate temperature limits.
Physical characteristics include an NLGI grade of 00–000 with a base oil viscosity of approximately 42 mm²/s at 40°C. Mobil Chassis Grease LBZ has a dropping point greater than 160°C and a worked penetration of approximately 435–445 (0.1 mm). The grease also provides a four-ball weld load of approximately 2200 N and maintains excellent flow performance at low temperatures, supporting reliable lubrication in centralised systems operating in demanding conditions.
