Mobil HyJet V
Mobil HyJet V is a high-performance phosphate ester aviation hydraulic fluid engineered for use in commercial and business aircraft. It offers superior thermal and hydrolytic stability compared to conventional Type IV fluids, helping reduce fluid degradation, extend service intervals and lower maintenance costs.
One of the key advantages of Mobil HyJet V is its enhanced stability. The formulation resists breakdown under high-temperature and moisture-exposed conditions, allowing for longer in-service fluid life and improved reliability of hydraulic systems. This contributes to reduced maintenance frequency and lower operating costs.

Physical characteristics include a density of approximately 8.35 lb/US gal at 60°F and a specific gravity of 0.997. The fluid has a kinematic viscosity of approximately 10.6 mm²/s at 100°F, 3.6 mm²/s at 210°F and 2.6 mm²/s at 127.6°C, with excellent low-temperature performance of approximately 132 mm²/s at −15°F and 1350 mm²/s at −65°F. It has a viscosity index of around 280, a flash point of approximately 346°F, a fire point of approximately 366°F and an autoignition temperature above 800°F.
