Mobil SHC 525
Mobil SHC 525 is an exceptional performance synthetic hydraulic oil formulated using synthesised, wax-free hydrocarbon base fluids combined with a carefully engineered additive system. It is designed to deliver outstanding shear stability, anti-wear protection and reliable performance in high-pressure hydraulic systems operating under severe conditions.
One of the key advantages of Mobil SHC 525 is its excellent wide temperature performance. The high viscosity index allows the oil to maintain effective lubrication at both low start-up temperatures and high operating temperatures, making it suitable for equipment exposed to varying environmental and operating conditions.
Mobil SHC 525 also provides exceptional oxidation stability. This helps extend oil and filter life, reduce sludge formation and maintain system cleanliness. The result is improved reliability and reduced maintenance costs, particularly in demanding hydraulic systems.

It is also suitable for systems containing gears and bearings and applications where small amounts of water are unavoidable.
Physical characteristics include ISO VG 46 viscosity grade with a kinematic viscosity of approximately 46 mm²/s at 40°C and 8.54 mm²/s at 100°C. Mobil SHC 525 has a viscosity index of approximately 154, a density of approximately 0.852 kg/l at 15°C, a flash point of approximately 238°C and a pour point of approximately −54°C, supporting reliable performance in severe hydraulic applications.
