Mobilsol PM
Mobilsol PM is a highly effective synthetic-based cleaning fluid developed for use in lubrication, hydraulic and general circulation systems. It is formulated with strong detergent and dispersant properties that help release and suspend deposits such as sludge, varnish and oxidation by-products. When added to existing system oil, Mobilsol PM works to clean internal components, restoring system cleanliness and improving overall operating efficiency.
One of the key advantages of Mobilsol PM is its ability to clean systems without requiring a full shutdown. The product can be introduced gradually into the operating system, allowing deposits to be loosened and carried in suspension for removal through filtration. This helps minimise downtime and allows maintenance to be carried out more efficiently.
Mobilsol PM also provides excellent dispersancy, ensuring that contaminants remain suspended in the oil rather than redepositing on system surfaces. This enables more effective removal of dirt and debris through filters and during oil changes, resulting in a cleaner system and improved lubrication performance.
Another important benefit is its compatibility and safety profile. The formulation is free from corrosive materials and has minimal impact on seals, even at elevated temperatures. It also features a higher flash point compared to lighter petroleum-based solvents, improving safety during use and handling.
Mobilsol PM is recommended for cleaning oil circulation systems in service, including paper machine lubrication systems, hydraulic systems, open heating systems and general gear and bearing lubrication systems. It can also be used for cleaning individual machine components such as gears and bearings by brush or dip methods.
For effective use, Mobilsol PM is typically added in controlled concentrations and circulated within the system before draining and refilling with fresh lubricant. This process helps restore system performance, improve equipment protection and extend operational life.
Physical characteristics include a brown appearance with kinematic viscosity of approximately 383 mm²/s at 40°C and 21 mm²/s at 100°C. Mobilsol PM has a flash point of approximately 208°C and density of around 0.885 kg/L at 15°C. The product delivers effective system cleaning, improved efficiency and enhanced equipment reliability.
