Mobilux EP 0 is part of the Mobilux EP Series, a family of high-performance lithium hydroxystearate greases formulated to deliver extra protection against wear, rust and water washout. This range has a long-standing reputation for reliable performance across a wide range of industrial applications. Mobilux EP 0 is specifically designed as a semi-fluid grease (NLGI 0), making it ideal for use in centralised lubrication systems and applications requiring good pumpability.
One of the key advantages of Mobilux EP 0 is its excellent load-carrying and anti-wear performance. The grease is formulated with extreme pressure (EP) additives that help protect components operating under heavy loads, shock loading and vibration. This contributes to improved equipment reliability and extended component life.
Mobilux EP 0 also provides strong resistance to water washout and excellent corrosion protection. This makes it particularly suitable for applications where equipment is exposed to moisture or wet environments. The grease helps protect metal surfaces from rust and corrosion, ensuring long-term durability and consistent performance.
Another important benefit is its good low-temperature pumpability. The NLGI 0 consistency allows the grease to flow easily through centralised lubrication systems, ensuring reliable delivery to components even in colder conditions. Mobilux EP 0 is recommended for a wide range of industrial applications, including bearings, bushings and other components operating under moderate to heavy loads. It is particularly suited for centralised systems and applications where semi-fluid grease is required. The product performs effectively across an operating temperature range of approximately −20°C to 130°C.
Physical characteristics include NLGI 0 consistency with lithium thickener and base oil viscosity of approximately 160 mm²/s at 40°C. Mobilux EP 0 has a dropping point of approximately 190°C and provides excellent extreme pressure performance, corrosion protection and reliable long-term lubrication in demanding industrial environments.
