Shell Helix Hybrid 0W-20 is a premium fully synthetic engine oil developed specifically to meet the unique lubrication requirements of modern hybrid-electric vehicles. Hybrid engines operate differently from conventional internal combustion engines, often switching frequently between electric and engine power. This results in repeated stop-start cycles, lower average engine temperatures and increased exposure to moisture condensation. Shell Helix Hybrid 0W-20 is formulated to address these challenges by providing superior oxidation stability, excellent corrosion protection and rapid oil flow during frequent engine restarts.
The lubricant is produced using Shell PurePlus Technology, which converts natural gas into crystal-clear synthetic base oils with very low impurity levels.
