Mobilgard 540
Mobilgard 540 is a high-performance cylinder oil specifically formulated for slow-speed two-stroke marine engines operating on 0.50% sulphur fuels in line with IMO 2020 emission regulations. The oil uses ExxonMobil’s proprietary balanced formulation approach to provide reliable lubrication and performance in demanding marine environments. It is engineered to help combat deposits and scuffing-related wear associated with low sulphur fuel operation.

Mobilgard 540 has density of approximately 0.919 at 15°C, flash point of approximately 248°C and pour point of approximately −21°C. Total base number is approximately 40, providing balanced acid neutralisation and deposit control.
