Mobilux EP 004
Mobilux EP 004 is part of the Mobilux EP Series, a family of high-performance lithium hydroxystearate greases formulated to deliver excellent protection against wear, rust and water washout. Mobilux EP 004 is a semi-fluid grease (NLGI 00) specifically developed for applications where conventional gear oils cannot be retained, such as poorly sealed gear cases. Its formulation ensures reliable lubrication while helping reduce leakage and maintain system efficiency.
One of the key advantages of Mobilux EP 004 is its excellent load-carrying and anti-wear performance. The grease is formulated with extreme pressure (EP) additives that protect gears, bearings and other components operating under heavy loads, shock loading and vibration. This helps extend component life and reduce maintenance requirements.
Mobilux EP 004 also provides strong resistance to water washout and excellent corrosion protection. The formulation helps protect metal surfaces from rust and corrosion, ensuring long-term durability even in moist or contaminated environments.

Mobilux EP 004 is recommended for enclosed gears, bearings and other components in industrial applications, particularly in equipment with worn or inadequate seals. Physical characteristics include NLGI 00 consistency with lithium thickener and base oil viscosity of approximately 160 mm²/s at 40°C. Mobilux EP 004 has a dropping point of approximately 190°C and a Timken OK load of 40 lb, indicating strong extreme pressure performance. The grease delivers reliable protection, excellent flow characteristics and long service life in demanding industrial applications.
