Shell Gadus S2 V100 2 is a high-performance multipurpose grease designed to deliver reliable protection and consistent lubrication performance across a wide range of industrial applications. It is formulated using a lithium hydroxystearate soap thickener combined with a mineral base oil and fortified with anti-oxidant, anti-wear and anti-rust additives. This balanced formulation makes it suitable for general industrial lubrication where dependable performance and long service life are required.
Shell Gadus S2 V100 2 offers reliable high-temperature performance, providing effective lubrication at operating temperatures of up to +130°C. This capability helps extend bearing life in applications exposed to elevated temperatures, reducing the frequency of re-greasing and associated maintenance requirements. The grease also demonstrates good oxidation and mechanical stability, resisting the formation of deposits caused by oxidation during prolonged operation at high temperatures.
The product is designed to remain extremely stable under vibration and repeated shock loading. Its strong mechanical stability helps prevent grease leakage, even in heavily loaded or vibrating bearings, ensuring consistent lubrication and protection over extended service periods. This grease is suitable for use in rolling element and plain bearings, electric motor bearings, sealed-for-life bearings and water pump bearings. Shell Gadus S2 V100 2 has a medium consistency (NLGI 2) and is primarily intended for general industrial lubrication. It is particularly well suited for use in centralised lubrication systems operating at normal temperatures.
