Petronas Vacuum Pump Oil
Petronas Vacuum Pump Oil is a specialty mineral oil formulated to meet the demanding requirements of high-vacuum pumps used in refrigeration system service and evacuation. With a very low vapour pressure, it allows pumps to achieve and sustain absolute pressures as low as 50 microns of mercury (0.05 torr) or lower, ensuring complete moisture and non-condensable gas removal from refrigeration systems before charging. The carefully selected viscosity grade delivers uniform lubricant distribution across pump components, minimising friction and wear while maintaining film strength under operating temperatures. Exceptional thermal and oxidative stability extends service life and reduces oil change frequency, while good water separability and resistance to degradation from moisture, refrigerant residues and particulates make it well-suited to the contaminants typically encountered in HVAC and refrigeration servicing.
