Shell Refrigeration Oil S4 FR-F 100 is a high-performance synthetic refrigeration compressor lubricant formulated using a polyol ester (POE) base fluid. The oil has been specifically developed for use in refrigeration systems operating with HFC refrigerants such as R134a. Its advanced formulation provides reliable lubrication, excellent wear protection and long service life in modern refrigeration compressors used across domestic, commercial and industrial cooling applications.
One of the key advantages of Shell Refrigeration Oil S4 FR-F 100 is its excellent resistance to thermal degradation and oxidation. Refrigeration compressors often operate under high discharge temperatures that can accelerate lubricant breakdown and lead to deposit formation.
